Alternative Spring Break - MIAMI

Join Hillels Around Chicago for a week-long service immersion trip in Miami, Florida. You, Hillel, students from across the nation, and our partners at City Year will help build and strengthen communities in need. Learn about Jewish responses to poverty, the concepts of Tzedek (justice), and Tikkun Olam (repair the world). Work with people in need, making a real difference in their lives. Support local community. Celebrate Shabbat like never before after a week that will change the way you think about urban life - in Miami and back here in Chicago. 

Details:

Trip Dates: March 18 thru March 25, 2012
Costs: $250 program fee plus travel to Miami. 
Application: Apply online HERE. After applying, you will be contacted for an interview. ($250 program fee and health insurance information is due with your application)
Orientations: 3 required orientation sessions will prepare you for the work and the trip
Wrapping up: share your experience when you return at our annual Tzedek Shabbat
